Markybox is no ordinary subscription service. Rather it focuses on two key parts – fostering creativity and also fostering the relationship between parent and child. Using a monthly subscription service model, the Markybox delivers a creative project that’s meant for both a parent and child to work on together.
Each box has easy instructions and enough professional-grade supplies so that the project can be done twice. Projects are curated by a team of artists and educators to ensure that the experience is varied and targets different skills and techniques. Their June Markybox was a hand casting project, much like the limited-edition sculpture that Markybox co-founder Glenn Kaino made in collaboration with actor Will Ferrell. The July Markybox will be a paper marbling project.
